Lesson I Learned From Spending Money I Didn’t Have On Credit Cards

…have you ever spent money before you had it?

…how about spending money you know you didn’t have…

…here’s the lesson I learned from spending money that I didn’t have with credit cards…

…I didn’t have any debt in my early 30s…

…I was introduced to it at the time from a man who owed everyone money…

…he showed me how much interest I would pay if I borrowed money with a loan or on my credit card…

…once you take that first step of paying for something before you have the money…

…it’s a lot easier to do it again…

…it started out as legal fees to fix legal problems…

…then it got into business opportunities and educational seminars…

…I actually don’t really regret what I did however it came with a large price…

…the thing about debt is that it takes a lot longer to pay it off than to spend it…

…and once you stop overspending, if you get to that point…

…then it’s a long time of saying no to buying any of your triggers…

…for instance, even though I did learn a lot from seminars, I haven’t paid for one for about 6 years now…

…you have to learn to say no a lot…

…once you realize how valuable your time and your money is…

…and how much it will grow once your debt payments turn into investments…

…you say no to spur on the moment trips, extravagant dinners…

…you find exactly what you can do in life that doesn’t cost you money and that still makes you feel abundant and prosperous…

…at least, that’s what it has done for me…

…luckily about a year after I started going into debt I started a habit of saving…

…and have also said no to spending my savings on my debt…

…I realize now that for me, debt actually taught me to be an excellent saver…

…it’s taught me how to honor and cherish my creditors, and it’s also given me great credit in the end…

…I also am very wary of buying a house with a mortgage, and buying a car on credit…

…I’m happy that my creditors profited from me and now it’s time to profit on my own money =)
