7 Amazing & Affordable Ways To Say I Love You to Your Wife on Valentine’s Day

Would you like to have an AMAZING & affordable way to say I Love You to your wife on Valentine’s Day?

Well, you have come to the right place and I know you are in a hurry because Valentine’s Day is tomorrow so let’s begin:

#1 Same Day Flower Delivery

1-800 Flowers has a bunch of flower arrangements that you can deliver. CLICK HERE for their same day flower delivery!

I personally love flowers, and when they are delivered in a beautiful bouquet is really feels special!

#2 Write a Love Note or Card

This can be free or pretty affordable if you just buy a card and write in it. Papyrus is going out of business and you can get really nice Valentine’s day cards for 80% off right now!!!!

The key to making this good is writing from your heart.

You can use this template if you have writer’s block.

Dear ________,

Happy Valentine’s Day! I love you so much. Remember when we first met and ____________. (Write in details that are complimentary to her, at least 3 details…her hair, laugh, smile, dress, clothes, remark…)

I still love you just as much as that magical day.

I don’t know if I told you this but, __________ (tell her something that she doesn’t know that you do because you love her…brag about her to your friends or relatives, think about her when you see a landmark, or think she would be a better actress than someone in a movie, or a song was written for her in your mind…)

Love,

_____________

#3 Get a Babysitter

Babysitters can be free if you have grandparents or other relatives who are want to look after your kids.

Sometimes you can trade with friends who have kids. So you would babysit their kids while they go out on a date, and they will babysit yours when you go out on a date.

You could celebrate Valentine’s Day early and they can celebrate late…or you can celebrate a day earlier or later, etc.

My son’s school is having a fundraiser on Valentine’s day where they will watch our kids and we can go on a date. They only charge $20 for the 1st kid and $10 for each additional. Siblings that don’t go to the school are welcome!

If you want to give your wife a truly nice Valentine’s Day, get the kids taken care of by someone else!!!!!!!

#4 Rent or Go to a Movie

Red Box movies are less than $2. Go ahead and rent one and watch it with your date with yummy food you buy at the grocery store.

Super affordable and you’ll probably eat what you really want anyway!

You can also go to a movie, which is a step up from renting one.

We can buy discount tickets at our credit union and the movie is only about $8.50 to $13.50 a ticket.

#5 Go Out To Dinner Without Your Kids

Go out to dinner without your kids!

Going out to dinner allows you both not to worry about cooking and cleaning up the kitchen!

If you can’t think of how to go out to dinner without your kids, you can team up with another couple and go somewhere that your kids will be preoccupied.

There is a Target Playground with this enclosed climbing where our son can play for hours if he’s with a friend.

Pair up with another couple who has kids. One couple stays with the kids from 5pm -7pm, the other from 7pm – 9pm. Go out to eat in the mall where the playground is.

Be creative but definitely go out to dinner somewhere without your kids!!!

#6 Plan an Adventure Date

I recently learned about how to plan an adventure date.

Just plan something and keep it a surprise to your wife.

It could be a walk in the park with a picnic basket.

Or a stroll down the beach.

A bike ride to a taco stand.

It doesn’t have to be expensive, it just has to be fun and a surprise.

Just tell her the time of the date, and what to wear.

Then surprise her.

Add in some kind of an obstacle.

Maybe she has to walk or eat blind folded.

Maybe you two have to feed each other.

Again, here is the basic recipe for an adventure date:

  1. Plan a surprise activity
  2. Tell her when and what to wear
  3. Create an obstacle
  4. No discussion of work or children on the date
  5. If you can’t make it, you must reschedule (it is a priority)

#7 Plan Time to Be Together In The Bedroom

Sometimes your wife is so busy or you are so busy that you just don’t have time together alone!

If you just plan for the both of you to be alone, that might be the most amazing valentine you can give her.

Maybe some alone time at home in the bedroom is all you need.

Text about it during the day, how you love each other and are excited about the evening!

This might require a babysitter, or just a good lock on the door.
