…I went surfing on Thursday and today and so became inspired to write a post on surfing…

…you see, surfing has a lot to do with my financial freedom…

…in fact, a lot of very wealthy people that I know had their roots in surfing…

…that would include David Wood, multi-millionaire and former homeless surfer dude living in a van on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii…

…then there’s John DeMartini, successful business owner, author and public speaker…he has a million degrees…formerly a surfing fanatic as well…

…I’m going to tell you my personal story on how surfing was key to my first steps towards financial freedom…

Living The Dream – Surfing Everyday

…it begins when I was very much buried in debt, looking for a solution, in between internet businesses and also looking for my soulmate…

…and I started reading The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich (Expanded and Updated) by Timothy Ferriss…

…and WOW, you know how sometimes reading a book instantly changes your life for the better?

…well, I started reading it around the same time I started talking to my soulmate Jomel through E-Harmony (he lived in LA, I lived in Hawaii) and we did a super POWERFUL exercise called dreamline…

…and in it I realized that one of my dreams was to surf everyday…

…and I wrote down what it would take to do that and I realized that I could do it immediately…

…I live right down the road from Waikiki, one of the best surf spots in the world…

…had my own board, had a car…

…and BOOM, the next morning and from then on I went surfing everyday!

…I started living my dream life and it didn’t matter what my money situation was like…

…and I felt free, and began my financially free life…

…it was about a year later that my Networth became positive, and I had more money than debt…

…I was living the dream and the money was catching up =)

…I also love blogging about my life and experiences to help everyone who desires it to become financially free!
