How to Overcome Financial Worries

How to Overcome Financial Worries

In this blog I’m going to teach you How to Overcome Financial Worries. Last night I was so worried about money that I couldn’t sleep! I used the first two methods, and I was sleeping like a baby =)

Worry is like paying interest for a loan that you never took out…why do it?

Feeling good doesn’t cost anything but will feel so good and help you bring more abundance in your life.

Watch a Show About Abundance

Last night, I had difficulty sleeping so I watched a podcast I like on Youtube called Take Back Your Mind. It was about following your dream, and having faith in your bounce back. The speaker was Lisa Nichols and she talked about how she doesn’t worry about failure because she has faith that no matter what happens she is going to bounce back.

She’s a smart one. She also shared her past, her mistakes and her personal story which was so moving.

The night before I watched an episode on how to release addiction, and that one really helped me feel calmer and at peace.

Affirmations

This is what I used last night. I said to myself over and over “I am beautiful. I am loving. I am kind. I live in abundance.” The more I said it the more I smiled. It made me feel good. I was able to sleep after that.

Talk to a Friend

It’s nice to talk to a supportive friend, one who has money or can see your situation objectively. They can help you focus on solutions, or reasons for your worry that you haven’t considered. They may give you the sunny version of your life that you aren’t seeing at the moment – like opening a curtain.

They can help you feel loved, which is true wealth and abundance.

Exercise and Supplement with Iron

I like to exercise because it makes be feel good. I supplement with iron because running depletes my iron and I get moody if I don’t supplement. If you get moody after exercise you can check your iron levels. Maybe all you need is to supplement!

Meditate / Pray

I meditate every morning and evening. It’s a way to cleanse my mind, or at least see what’s going on in there. I meditate with the intention of having a greater awareness of my oneness with God and all things.

If you have a meditation or prayer practice, making it a daily practice will help you have the discipline to do it when things are not going well.

Write Down What’s Going On

If you have a lot of things on your mind, you might want to write them all down. Release them and let them go!

Maybe make a to do list.

Maybe write down what you’re really thinking about so you can see what is behind your worry. Is it rational, does it make sense? If whatever you think might happen does in fact happen, will it be so bad?

Let it go =)
