How To Create a Financial Freedom Habit in 3 Easy Steps

Let’s discuss How To Create a Financial Freedom Habit in 3 Easy Steps.

I’m sure you understand that habits create good health.

If we have good eating and exercise habits, we have strong and healthy bodies.

It’s the same with financial freedom.

Some of you may have some good money habits, like paying off your credit card balances every month and putting aside retirement money in a 401K, however you have to clue on how to create financial freedom.

There are certain habits that you can follow to create true freedom in your life.

Here are the 3 Easy Steps to follow to create a Financial Freedom Habit.

Step #1 Practice Enjoying Your Free Time

This is key.

I know a lot of people with a lot of money that have ZERO free time, and wouldn’t know what to do if they had free time.

These are people who are busy bodies, and have lost the enjoyment of life.

You can also be a poor busy body.

So, let’s discuss how to practice this habit.

First just schedule free time and decide what you are going to do to enjoy it.

Are you going to float in the ocean?

Are you going to go surfing like I did yesterday?

Are you going to go for a nature hike, take photos, paint?

What is it that makes you HAPPY?!?

Figure out what makes you happy and schedule in time every week to do it.

Step #2 Buy Assets Every Month

Everytime you look at something to buy, ask yourself is it an asset or a liability?

In other words, is what I am about to buy going to put money in my pocket, or is it going to do nothing for my bottom line, or is it going to actually take money away from me month after month?

A house you live in is a liability, because you have to pay for it month after month.

A car you drive is a liability unless having the car makes you more money than not having the car.

A dividend yielding stock is an asset because it puts money in your pocket every month.

Simple noticing and asking the question everytime you buy will get you thinking about how you are spending your money.

Check with yourself every month and make sure you bought or increased the cash flow from at least one of your assets.

Step #3 Play Cash Flow Every Week

Want to learn how to really focus on passive income in your life in an easy and fun habit that you can share with your family and friends?

Play Cash Flow the board game every week until you can win the game in 30 minutes or less.

I did this for over a year, and I now play Cash Flow For Kids with my son.

Don’t under estimate the value of playing this game.

I never even thought about passive income before I played this game.

Enjoy!
