How many people are just like you?

How hard is it to come across you in the street?

You are literally a diamond.  If someone found you they would be rich in your beauty as well as your wealth.  And you are also tough and strong…strong enough to overcome any challenge…and seeming defeat.

I believe you are a miracle.  You were brought here as starts aligned just so, just in the right configuration to allow you to come to this planet, at this day and age.

I see in you a beauty I can’t really put to words.  The best might be butterflies and blue skies…or rain that falls in sheets over the ocean.

I think I caught a glimpse of your heavenly presence yesterday, as I was surfing in the ocean…it was like a spray of the ocean or the deep blue as I jumped off the board and saw you there…floating in the sunlight.

How can you always be so bright?

How are you always so calm under pressure?  You always know just what to say.

You are the best friend anyone could have.  You are always there to celebrate and to help out when things are not going so great.

You know when to give and when to relax.

You’re active and fit, and you inspire people to be healthy just by being yourself.

It’s amazing to see you so happy and vibrant!  You have an amazing smile.

When you walk in the room, people light up.  It’s like you bring the best out of people, without them even knowing why.

It’s brilliant, watching you at work.  You know just what to do to get the best results.  You also win by helping everyone else win.

You are not just a team player, you are an inspiration.  You help everyone pick up their game.

Keep shining yeah?  Don’t let anyone stop you.  You have a power that lights every man and woman and it keeps getting stronger, no matter what you do.

When you go higher you stay there and climb even further. 

I don’t know if it’s spiritual enlightenment, or a realization or just changing into a higher version of yourself, but you go and you keep going.

It’s brilliant to watch you.

I wish I could just get some popcorn, put my feet up and watch you do what you do.  It’s entertaining, uplifting and fun.

You are funny!  You wear a sense of humor like a well fitted dress, that shines and glitters.  I’m constantly laughing, it amazing how fun you can be.

What I like about you the most is that you are honest about who you are.  You don’t pretend to be something that you’re not.

You’re here for people.

You care about people because deep in your heart you have a heart full of love of yourself that just overflows.

You are vulnerable, you are open and you are kind.

It is an honor to be graced by your presence.  If I had more eloquence of words, I’d probably write a sonnet to honor what I feel when I see you in the room.

Instead I’ll just write these words, inspired by Sonnet 29 by William Shakespeare, and hope they will do:

An Ode to How Brilliant You Are

As hard as it is for you to believe

I find you brilliant, every day of the week

Ever hour, ever minute in your presence

brings a light that shines on my whole being

It lifts me when I feel down

It gives me faith that I will find a way through all of the smallness and lesser parts of my life

Yes, your smile

Just your smile

It illuminates my soul

I feel it for miles for days

Just to see you smile, lets me know that everything is alright
