8/27/24 Financial Freedom Affirmations and Visualization – “Boring things are important”

Let’s do our Financial Freedom Affirmations and learn from a quote from the cartoon Bluey – “Boring things can be important”

Jordan, my 11 year old son, likes to watch Bluey and in this one episode called Pool, the mom of 6 year old Bluey said “Boring things can be important”.

What does that mean?

In the show she was talking about brushing teeth, packing sun screen, floaties and goggles.

The kids Bluey (6 yrs old) and Bingo (5 yrs old) tell their Mom that they don’t want to brush their teeth because brushing their teeth is boring. They tell their Mom that Dad is more fun.

Then Dad takes them to the pool and doesn’t bring the pool stuff that Mom recommends because he says it’s boring. However, when they get to the pool they don’t have their sun screen, snacks, floaties, goggles, pool toys and so on.

They get hungry and bored pretty fast.

Then Mom comes to save the day by bringing all of the “boring” stuff that they had forgot to take.

Then they have a lot of fun playing in the pool.

They realize that boring things are important.
