5 Ways To Make Money On A Rainy Day
It’s raining in Waikiki this morning and at 6am I was talking to Jomel about a great way to make money, so I’m going to share with you 5 Ways To Make Money On A Rainy Day.
#1 Uber/Lyft Driving
The rain is great for rideshare, especially early in the morning when people have to go to work.
If you want to make extra money, rainy days in the mornings are especially good for bringing in money.
First reason, drivers don’t want to go out because it’s raining.
They want to sleep in on rainy days…the sound of rain is so relaxing right?
Second, people still need to go to work and they don’t want to walk or drive or take the bus, because it’s so wet.
Hence, more demand for drivers while less drivers are working.
#2 Food Delivery – Bitesquad, Doordash, Grubhub, Uber Eats
Food deliver is also great on rainy days.
People don’t want to go out to get food, so they order it delivered.
Delivery drivers and bikers don’t want to go out because it’s raining.
And there you have it, more orders and less workers to deliver.
Then you get surge pricing, which means you make more per delivery as there are less delivery drivers out there.
#3 Money Management – Call Car Insurance Companies, Deposit Checks, Call for Fee Reversals or Interest Rate Reductions
I learned that a phone call can sometimes make you many times more than what you earn at your job.
For example, I learned that if you call your credit card company and ask for an interest rate reduction, then they will give it to you. You may have to ask for the manager, and then their manager, but you will get it.
One of my phone calls ended with me make back over $1,000 in credit card interest payments.
A simple phone call to a different car insurance company can lower your rates a lot (seriously, try it sometime).
If you got a fee on your bank or credit card, fix what caused the fee and then call them and ask them to reverse it. Usually putting a credit card on autopay is good enough to get a fee and interest reversed if you missed your payment.

#4 Investment Money – Invest in Passive Income Assets Like Stocks, Pay Yourself Your Interest/Dividends/Growth
