5 Biggest Benefits of Quitting My Job

5 Biggest Benefits of Quitting My Job

I’m going to talk about the 5 Biggest Benefits of Quitting My Job.

I was scared when I did it.

My last day was December 23, 2016.

Let me tell you now, almost 4 years later, what the 5 biggest benefits of quitting my job are.

Benefit #1 Sleep

Probably the biggest benefit is that I get more sleep.

Getting enough sleep made me SO MUCH HEALTHIER.

You can actually go and see my blogs from before I quit and you will see I am sniffling. Sometimes I sneeze on the live.

I am healthy now!

I am rested!

My family gets more sleep!

Benefit #2 Do What I Love

I quit my job with a purpose in mind – to focus on becoming financially free and to have more time for my family.

I am a Full Time Mother and Wife, a homemaker, and I am so glad that I am.

I am a Part Time Business owner, investor and blogger.

I love it!

I get to learn, to grow, to overcome obstacles, to change people’s lives.

I feel fulfilled!

Benefit #3 Meditation and Self Care Time

I meditate everyday.

I take Sundays off to go to church and take care of myself.

I did my nails last Sunday while watching a Japanese series that I like.

I enjoy myself, take time off, take care of myself!

Benefit #4 Better Investments

When I quit my job, I had time to research and learn how to do better investments.

We bought 2 properties, both of which make rental income.

I also researched other investments, and have continued to focus on passive income.

Benefit #5 Time With Family and Friends

I get to spend time with my family!

I know some parents only see their kids for a couple of hours on weekdays, and they’re usually exhausted.

I spend most of my days with my family.

I get to prepare their meals, go to the beach, the park with them.

Yesterday I went to the beach with Jomel and Jordan, and we went surfing, played in the sand and in the waves.

After that we went for a walk and picked up trash for fun (it can be fun trust me) with this extendable arm device.

Jordan played ukulele while we sang along and then we watched the movie Kung Fu Panda 2 together.

Yesterday was Monday!

Conclusion

When I decided to quit my job I was scared.

It took a lot of effort to find a good job with good benefits.

It was risky to quit, because I knew if I wanted to get a job again it would be challenging.

I also knew I had a dream, to become financially free, and my job was not where I wanted to be.

So I made the decision and I quit.

I hope this blog post helps you on your road to financial freedom and fulfillment.
