I also found that there are bonds and stocks that you can purchase through a brokerage account that can also generate passive income.
Way #2 Portfolio Growth Assets
Another way to make money while you sleep is to have an investment portfolio that is growing.
I just started doing this this year, and we are using the All Seasons Portfolio recommended by Ray Dalio in the book Money: Master The Game by Tony Robbins.
The basic idea is that your money grows over time at an average percentage (it fluctuates year to year).
And you don’t have to look at it except to rebalance it at least once a year.
Way #3 Internet or Other Passive Income Generating Business
I started an internet business because I wanted it to make sales while I sleep.
I created products that help people learn about passive income and financial freedom.
I enjoy helping people have more free time and learn to take control of their finances.
Sometimes I make sales from my website and I am sleeping, or on vacation.
It reminds me why I got into this business.
There are other businesses that you could start that have passive income potential.
I know someone who owns a laundromat for example.
