…do you give to charity?
…do you give anonymously?
…there are a lot of advantages to giving anonymously that I want to share…
Why Give Anonymously?
1) You get the benefit of knowing that you gave from your heart (as opposed to giving for status, or recognition, or to get something else).
2) You save trees and the energy of the charity since they don’t write you every year for a donation and don’t have you on their lists.
3) You stay humble as you avoid all the compliments from people singing your praises for donating to their charity or cause.
4) According to Dr. John DeMartini, you build up your karma, or basically allow the Universe to give back to you by circulating money and benefiting others…and it’s more powerful when you donate anonymously and never tell a soul…
5) You build courage, stamina, and strength of character…Dr. John DeMartini suggested that when someone asks you to donate to charity, politely say no, and then if you choose to, donate anonymously…this is easier said than done! Especially when it’s your coworkers or boss pressuring you to donate to charity…

When you are only after the happiness of the person you are giving, you don’t actually care being recognized as the giver. The thoughts that someone has been blessed through you is enough to fill your heart with gladness.
