…in it there is a part where the main character Dan is told by his teacher to sit on a stone in the back yard until he can think of something inspiring and enlightening to say…

…so Dan is stuck on this rock, sore and hungry for over 24 hours…

…he misses his classes and his gymnastics practice….

…thinking and thinking…

…finally he comes up with the enlightening thought…

…it’s an interesting question and today I was at the funeral of a dear friend who only retired in June 2013 and has passed away at 67, didn’t even collect her social security yet…

…she had plans to travel the world…

…and it struck me to write this very important post…

…because a lot of people work so hard so that they can retire…

…most never do, and working as greeters in Walmart (as my mentor Tracy Walker pointed out)…

…I ask you, if we are to live our fullest life, then why would we ever retire?

…and why would we work a job that we don’t enjoy in the first place?

…fresh water means a lot to Hawaiians because if you found a source, then you could live…

…you could grow plants, drink water, etc…

…when I think about becoming financially free, I sometimes think that I want to become wealthy…

…the thing is I already am wealthy…
